Over the last month, we made a small dent in accessing the property. We made a trail path of mulch to stroll through part of the garden. Our cats love it and have been following us, posing along the way as we seek out other parts of the property. We placed one of the garden boxes donated by Chris Currero from Clearwater, and it has been approved by Domino our cat.

We have exciting news to share! After much research, we completed the paperwork to make Guiding Spirit Organic Garden officially a 501 C3 Nonprofit organization. Though I cannot aid in clearing the land as much, I’ve instead been using my designing skills in developing the landscape of the garden with Unreal Engine to get a sense of the different areas of the garden and to provide visitors with a virtual tour of it once programming is completed.

There is still so much that needs to be done but I am excited for the future of the garden and what it can do to help the community. We are waiting for cooler weather to have a garden day for volunteers to come out. Meanwhile, we are in the process of completing the Rezoning Pre-Submittal Review Request form from the county to be able to build on the property.

Until next time, see you on the other side of the gate.
