When I first started developing the mission and purpose of the garden, I did not foresee the sheer transformation the garden property has gone through this year. Every day I’ve been going along the trails. I find my mind ease with gentle cool breezes of Florida fall and blooming the colorful flowers. Along with the garden’s development, I feel my mental health improve in more ways than one.
During the past two open garden days, there have been so many new faces on garden day, volunteers have worked hard to cut down old trees. We are still working towards the process of rezoning the garden in which will allow for developing on the property.
The next open garden day will be on December 16th, 2023, perfect for winding down amongst the rush of the holiday season and getting one with nature. All are welcomed.
