Welcome to the garden! We have exciting news to share. Guiding Spirit Organic Garden has a home thanks to the wonderful people at Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County. The past few months we have been filling the paperwork to establish Guiding Spirit Organic Garden INC. as an official non-profit organization. Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County has donated the property to develop the garden.

On April 14th, we sat down with Kristen Powell of Carpenter Title Agency. Within a shower of blue and green confetti, we signed the deed that officially deems the property the site of Guiding Spirit Organic Garden INC.

Special thanks to Vinny Vaughn of Carlton Fields for helping us with the legal paperwork for the property.

Now the real dirty work begins. As you can see from the picture on our home page, the property is more jungle like than a garden. The next step is clearing the land. We need heavy machinery and volunteers to aid in clearing the lot.
